A. You may launch Curio Strip directly from the CD-ROM on which it is distributed.
Double-click on the “Curio Strip™” icon or select it and choose “Open” from the
“File” menu.
B. You may see performance gains by copying the Curio Strip™ application onto a hard
disk and launching it from there. In this case, you will be asked to locate the
original Curio Strip™ application on the CD-ROM using the standard open file
dialog. This tells the application where to find all its support files.
C. You may also copy the entire folder entitled “Curio Strip™ ƒ” from the CD-ROM on
which it is distributed onto your hard disk. This takes up about 40 megabytes but
you may see performance improvements. If you copy the folder, you must copy the
entire “Curio Strip™ ƒ” folder by dragging its icon from the CD-ROM to the hard
drive. If you then move the Curio Strip™ application from this folder on your hard
drive, you will be asked to locate the original Curio Strip™ at launch time. In this
case, you should leave a copy or alias (named “Curio Strip™”) in the folder on the
hard drive, and select this copy or alias as the “original”. This will allow the
application to locate its support files from the hard drive rather than the CD-ROM.
